What is Tithe?

Tithing means a tenth, an important number in the Bible representing testing. It is God’s test to us and at the end of the day, tithing grants God the opportunity to bless you.

Lev 27: 30 - “A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the Lord; it is holy to the Lord.”

Malachi 3:10 - “Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. And thereby put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you a blessing until there is no more need.”

What is Offering?

Offering is what we do to go above and beyond our tithe. Offering shows God that you are a cheerful giver.

1 Corinthians 9:7 - “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”
